How Does the H-1B Visa Process Work?

Employer Sponsorship: A US employer must sponsor the foreign worker.
Labor Condition Application (LCA): The employer must file an LCA with the US Department of Labor.
H-1B Petition: The employer submits an H-1B petition to US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Visa Application: The foreign worker applies for an H-1B visa at a US embassy or consulate.
